  1. No excuses needed Chuck roast is yummy smoked the haters can miss out lol. I don't think it tastes like brisket other than its a big ol hunk of beef. I don't usulay wrap mine uless I'm in a hurry I normally serve it chopped.

  3. I really like chuck, there are plenty of ways to do it and it’s a great tasting cut. A good smoke ring and it looked really good Kevin! Works great on burnt ends too among other things. Strangely I didn’t get notified on this one until an hour ago it showed up in the inbox yt thing. Glad I caught it.

  5. Nice job Kevin! I smoke chuckies all the time because they are just easier and closer to the right portion for my family. I end up taking them to 210 or higher a lot of the time to get that pull apart tenderness. I also love smoking tri tip like a brisket to over 200° which Harry Soo has some great video content on. I have even found it has better marbling and results than a lot of brisket flats and it’s only 2-3 lbs to work with. Cheers!

  6. You definitely have the patience to cook these pieces of meat for so long this chuck roast took six hours to get it to the consistency you want your storms that day were pretty brutal
    In the end that chuck roast looked delicious

  7. What kind of advice would have for a guy that fails at brisket every time, but chuck roasts turn out great….Asking for a friend. Guess I’ve never sliced a chuck, just used it as pulled beef. Guess I know what I’m trying this weekend.
